Thank you for your support of The Putnam/Northern Westchester Women's Resource Center.
In-Kind donations enhance our clients’ experience as they move through this transitional time in their lives.
Our Families Need:
Packages of diapers in all sizes and baby wipes
New Linens and Towels
NEW twin sheet sets
New, unopened full-size toiletries (especially hair and skin care products for women of color)
Gift cards
ÝVISA, Target, Home Depot, KMart, Walmart, Sears, Kohls, or cards for Food, Linens, Comforters, Pillows, Towels, etcß
School supplies
ÝNew backpacks, pencils, pens, notebooks, composition books, rulers, erasers, crayons, colored pencils & markersß

Maintenance of our shelter is ongoing and the costs continue to increase each year. Our wish is that you are able to provide us with the funds to defray the cost of heating and electrical expenses. To make a donation or to discuss ways that you can assist us please call 845-628-9284 ext. 18.
Our donation policy:
The above lists are items our clients need on an ongoing basis and your help in supplying them is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, due to administrative and storage constraints we are unable to accept other donations unless arrangements have been made with the Development Coordinator.
We do not have the ability to pick up donations. We request that arrangments are made to drop off donations.

If you are a community group with a project to benefit WRC and our clients please call 845-628-9284 ex. 18.
For your donations of gently used clothing please take these items to eagle Eye Thrift Shop. For donations of household items or furniture visit any Goodwill donation center.
Matching Gifts
Not only is it an easy and effective way to double the amount of your donation, but it also maximizes the impact your gift can have for those you seek to help.
Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program; Print or request your company's matching gift form. Most companies require you to provide a receipt of your donation;

The Putnam/Northern Westchester Women's Resource Center is a registered private not-for profit 501(c)Ý3ß organization.
Your tax-deductible donation allows us to serve victims of domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Putnam and Upper Westchester Counties, NY. Your support enables us to provide emergency shelter services, counseling and support services, children’s programming, outreach and training, and a full range of legal services to victims who are seeking safety and a life free from abuse.
