Baptism

Baptisms are held after weekend Masses by appointment. Deacon Larry Zitkus holds a monthly pre-baptismal class which is required. At least one godparent must be a practicing Catholic and only a man and a women may stand in as godparents.

First Communion

First Communion for parachial school children is held at the school with the child's classmates. Sacred Heart Religious Education First Communion classes takes place during the 2nd grade year and First Communion takes place during the 11am Mass the weekend after Easter. Please contact the Director of Religious Education for any child that is older than 2nd grade level and has not received First Communion preparation, special courses are available as needed.

Confirmation

Confirmation classes are held every other year for ALL 9th-10th grade Sacred Heart parishioners, including parochial school students. Confirmation dates, as Bishop is available, take place in the fall following the year of preparation.
